The best hidden gem in Hobart for vintage clothing, upstairs above Filomena’s Alterations is a light filled room full of vintage, 90’s and Y2k nostalgia. Vintage clothing and accessories (even kids vintage!) for sale at reasonable prices, as well as art, clothing and jewellery made by local creatives. A safe, comfortable and inclusive space where everyone is welcomed by the friendly owner and staff, and the clothing isn’t ‘gendered’. Set up at the end of the room is a cosy couch with lots of cushions where customers are welcome to watch a VHS or play a game on PS2. My absolute favourite shop in Hobart :)

Top notch shop. I've been in a few times over the last few months and it's been consistently great - good selection and rotation of reasonably priced gear, really considerate and helpful staff, and the decor is *such* a hit of nostalgia!

Super kewl vintage store. Hidden gem for sure. Have found so many good pieces here and the staff are always v friendly, helpful and not pushy. Fair prices and a really good range of sizes and styles.

absolutely love this place. The vibe is great, really warm and welcoming. The staff are genuinely some of the best you’ll meet . They obviously know their stuff and were super helpful from the get go. They helped me and some mates put together some epic kits. Highly recommend.

Had the most incredible experience at Tommy Vintage! The sales assistant was so lovely and warm, and she helped me look through the entire store for something specific. Great pricing and extremely cool stickers, would definitely recommend dropping in!

Easily one of the best vintage shops in Hobart. Huge range of stock in store and staff always offer to track something down for you if it isn’t in store. The team are super friendly and have a great range of prices including some pretty unreal collectable pieces. Stoked with my purchase and will 100% be back.

Such a cool shop with heaps of quality vintage clothing. Prices are fair and they have some awesome high end pieces as well. Awesome for collectors! Appreciate the staff as well. Always so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend, nothing like this in Hobart!

Incredibly good stuff every time I've been. A standout among Hobart which already has a good vintage scene. I don't expect bargain cheap prices like at an op-shop, but they are still reasonable and quality is very reliable. Great for men's fashion which can be harder to find 2nd hand.

Tommy Vintage is a great little spot for anyone who likes quality vintage attire. The atmosphere was cool and comfortable, and it was clear a lot of care went into choosing the pieces. Prices were reasonable, which made it easy to walk away with something i actually felt good about. The store was also really easy to find, so popping in for a browse was no hassle at all. Definitely coming back in the next time I'm in Hobart CBD.
